MIDNIGHT GLANCE failed to complete the hat-trick when finishing third at Fontwell last time but that performance suggests that the six-year-old remains on a workable mark. Mr Jack clearly improved for a wind operation based on his victory at Plumpton earlier in the month and he is an obvious threat to the selection. Others to note are Frisco Bay and Some Can Sing.
A case can be made for a few here but the most persuasive one is for FRISCO BAY who shaped as if better was to come when a strong-travelling second at Huntingdon last time and can open his account off a handy-looking mark. Sawpit Sienna is another still on the up though so is greatly feared, while both Midnight Glance and Mr Jack are not taken lightly either too in a competitive handicap.
SO THEY SAY needed her last outing and should prove the one to beat in the opener. MS FLOWER POWER loved the extra last time and did well to take 2nd after finding obstacles. She should confirm the form with GAL GADOT. RIVETING is on the up and could get into the mix. Watch newcomers, especially WEATHER BOMB, LOVE IS LIVE and Reserve LEVECHE.
